This a question which has plagued me for a while now.
Admittedly, I mainly use a computer online these days and the need for large hard drives is fast becoming nonexistent. However, I find myself doing a lot of design work with Photoshop for the theatre.
Currently there isn’t really a decent app based programme that cam compete with Photoshop. This is where my dilemma starts, because in order to have a laptop powerful enough to cope with Photoshop, a lot of money needs to be spent.
Chromebooks look amazing, boot up and run very fast, are light and very portable. So, in conclusion, I think the Chromebook option is winning. After all, the PC is where Photoshop really comes into it’s own.
